Delivery Terms and Conditions

While we do offer same day delivery, we do not guarantee it.  Unless a specific future date is requested, if we are not able to deliver the same day, we will deliver the flowers on the following business day (we are not open on a Sunday).  This is because we are a small florist boutique and operate out of a home-based studio on the fringe of Canberra. 

Our focus is on providing the freshest possible flowers to our customers, and keeping flower wastage as low as possible so we can keep our prices down.

Having a surprise bouquet of fresh flowers delivered to your house is a joy! We would like to preserve the element of surprise wherever possible, but there are a few things we need you to do to help us:

• Make sure the address is correct  - don't forget to include the unit number as well as the street number.
• Try to make sure there will be someone home to accept the delivery; or 
• Give us alternative instructions for the delivery if there's a chance they won't be home (i.e. please leave on doorstep). 
• If there's no-one at home, and no suitable (shaded) space to leave the flowers, we will need to arrange a new delivery time - please ensure you have provided us with a contact telephone number.

Our delivery team will make every effort to ensure that your flowers are delivered fresh and on time.  However, on occasion, we are not able to leave the flowers. Reasons may be that there was no shade to protect them, or we were not able to find the address as supplied. In the first instance we will check your order for special delivery instructions - if there are none provided we may need to contact you or the recipient to get further information. If we need to return to make a second delivery attempt (either later that day or the following morning) we may charge a second delivery fee - we will contact you to arrange payment for this over the phone.

If your flowers are being sent to a person in a medical facility, please give us their room number when ordering.  If you discover that they have been discharged/sent home since you placed your order with us, please contact us as soon as possible with alternative delivery details.  In the event that we attempt to deliver the flowers and are advised that they are not in residence, we will contact you and ask for further instruction. Please note an additional delivery fee will be payable in this instance - we will contact you directly if this is the case.
